I was born in Hong Kong and grew up along the coast of Santa Barbara and Los Angeles. In 1981, I graduated from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena with a B.F.A in Fashion Illustration/Advertising Design.

For the first 13 years, I was an Art Director in Los Angeles and New York City for various Ad agencies. Some of my accounts include I.B.M, Warner Bros., The Disney Channel, United Airlines, Hilton Hotels and Neiman Marcus. Then, following my "heart", I became a shoe designer and started at Charles Jourdan Paris. Quickly after, I was hired by Ralph Lauren to be his Women's Collection Footwear Designer. Then eventually becoming the Vice President of Men's and Women's shoes for Banana Republic.

Now, back in L.A., my clients range in differing styles, price points, and locals across the United States. I enjoy the unique challenges of each company. Some only need designs, while others need help in the entire design process. From trend forecasting, design, sketching, material selection to development. Being bi-lingual, I have no problem working in the Asian factories.

My other passion is fashion illustration. Since age 4, I've been obsessed with story telling through fashion illustration. I am excited to see and feel the passion that men and women have for looking great and how that interacts in the world.
